The Spy had barely gotten out of the shower, the room was humid and mirror was fogged in a thin layer of mist. Long streaks of tears fell down the surface of the mirror, revealing a clean streak of his reflection. He leaned on the counter and took in a deep breath. He was tired of trying to hide his secret. Hapless 8.3~Demerit~

Sniper was in the mess hall waiting for the Spy to show up. The team was having their discussion, cracking jokes and having a good time.

“And, BAM! The son of a b**** didn’t see it coming!” The team hollered in laugher, banging on the table causing some of their empty plate to fall over the edge.

The Sniper only continued to stir his coffee, even though it didn’t need to be, it seemed to be the only way to keep his mind off of things. He took another glance at the doors hoping to see the Spy come through. The doors remained closed as there was no hint of anyone forcing them open.

Hapless 8.2~Fainaigue~

It was his young face that was triggering something in the back of his mind. The mask usually hid his face, his age, and that forgotten memory that was itching Sniper’s mind. Every time he revealed his face a scene of a flashback would replay but it wasn’t complete, leaving him to try to figure out the rest. All the Sniper could do was to try to remember what was it, what really happened when they had first met.

Sniper woke up early that morning, the dog tags he had hidden were keeping him from sleeping. The sun was slowly rising to welcome the light of a new day. The clock across the van read 5:30 am. For the next five minutes he remained staring into the blank ceiling. He mind open to nothing other than a break to relax. Realizing that wasn’t going to happen he crept out of the warm bed leaving the Spy alone for a while. He removed the tags from beneath the mattress and examined them again. “What do we do?” A voice spoke from a dark corner of a room with the only light source being an old, dusky light bulb hanging from the ceiling that looked that it could go out any minute. The Red Spy frustratingly paced back and forth, the wood below him gave a small creaked to every step. His hand covered half his face showing his agony as he thought about their situation. Behind him was an empty square table with a pair of two wooden chairs on either end. In the opposite seat of the table was the Red Sniper, he too was feeling the pressure. “We’re running out of time. If we don’t act now, they will find him… and take him.” Sniper got up from his spot and stood up against the Spy.
“We’ll get him back before they do. I ain’t going ta’ let them creeps capture him and take him back to some lab.” He settled down back into his chair with his head in his palms of his hands. “I don’t want t
